RoyaltyShare Sales Transaction Normalization

John Wiley & Sons, In.c (NYSE:JWa, JWb), a global provider of content and workflow solutions in areas of scientific, technical, medical, and scholarly research; professional development; and education uses RoyaltyShare’s SaaS Digital Advantage for eBooks to automate the processing and management of its worldwide eBook revenue.

With RoyaltyShare sales feeds are automatically downloaded from online retailers; such as Amazon, iTunes, as soon as they are available. This data is normalized and errors; such as pricing or invalid ISBNs are detected. Webbased tools allow the user to resolve these issues. Then RoyaltyShare produces an output file; a sales tranaction file, for importing into your  royalty software.

Who else uses this software? Hachette Book Group (HBG), Faber and Faber and Bloomsbury Publishing are some of their clients.

2012 validation audit of Hachette Book Group’s systems and processes for managing digital sales received from dozens of eBook retailers revealed that 100% of the sales for the test period; January 2012, were processed and reported.
